Moulded case circuit breakers are mainly used for overload, undervoltage and short-circuit protection of distribution lines and power supply equipment in distribution networks with AC 50Hz-60Hz, rated isolation voltage of 800V, rated operating voltage of 690V and below, rated current of 1250A and below. The frame rating of 400 A and below can also be used for motor overload, undervoltage and short-circuit protection for intelligent low-voltage circuit breakers. I. Normal working environmental conditions for the use of moulded case circuit breakers


1. The upper limit of ambient air temperature shall not exceed 40 degrees Celsius, the lower limit shall not be lower than -5 degrees Celsius, and the average value within 24 hours shall not exceed 35 degrees Celsius.


2. The installation workplace, in the case of different altitudes, must not exceed 2000m.


3. The relative humidity of the atmosphere at the highest ambient temperature is +40°C and not more than 50% at the isolation circuit breaker; it can have a higher relative humidity at lower temperatures, for example 90% at 20°C, taking into account condensation on the product surface due to temperature changes.

Installation working conditions: installation should normally be carried out vertically, moulded case circuit breakers can also be installed horizontally as well as horizontally (horizontal installation).


Installation category: circuit breaker main circuit is class 3; control circuit and auxiliary circuit is class 2.

Normal storage and transport conditions


1. Lower temperature limit not lower than -25°C, upper limit not higher than +55°C.
